HKU O&G CENTENARY CONFERENCE:
“A Legacy of Innovation, A Century of Excellence in Women’s Health”

Conference Highlights

The HKU O&G Centenary Conference will be held on 6–7 December 2025 at the Cheung Kung Hai Lecture Theatre, Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. The program features keynote sessions, free oral presentations, and discussions on cutting-edge advancements in obstetrics and gynaecology. This historic event will provide an opportunity to reflect on a century of progress and explore the future of women’s health.

Call for Abstracts

The Organising Committee warmly invites you to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. This is an exciting opportunity to share your research in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Abstracts must be submitted via the online Abstract Submission Portal. Submissions via email, fax, or post will not be accepted.

Important Dates

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 13 October 2025 (Monday), 23:59 (Hong Kong Time, UTC/GMT +8 hours)
  • Acceptance results and preparation guidelines will be released by 31 October 2025 (Friday)
  • Presenting authors of accepted abstracts must complete registration and payment by 15 November 2025 (Saturday). Presenters who fail to do so will not be included in the program
  • E-Poster submission deadline for accepted poster presentations by 3 December 2025 (Wednesday)
  • An e-Certificate of presentation will be provided to the presenting author of each accepted abstract

We welcome submissions in the following areas:

  • General Gynaecology
  • General Obstetrics
  • Gynaecological Oncology
  • Maternal and Fetal Medicine
  • Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgery
  • Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology
  • Reproductive Medicine
  • Urogynaecology

General Guidelines

  1. Language: Abstracts must be written in English.
  2. Word Limit: Abstracts should not exceed 400 words. Submissions exceeding the limit may be rejected.
  3. Format: Abstracts should be structured with the following sections:
    • Title
    • Authors (please CAPITALISE surnames)…”
    • Affiliation(s)
    • Background / Objectives
    • Methodology
    • Results
    • Conclusion
  4. Registration: Authors submitting an abstract must register for the conference at the same time
  5. Editing Rights: The Organising Committee reserves the right to reject or edit submissions.

Best Abstract(s) Award

The awards will be announced and presented at the Closing Ceremony.
